Newcastle’s talents will give the game’s meta more protection powers, shielding allies and defending positions. His passive lets him drag down comrades behind a shield as he rezzes them. His tactical ability will enable him to create a mobile barrier that he may move at will to provide cover for repositioning or protecting his squad when caught in the open. Meanwhile, his ultimate summons a giant shield with deliberately placed gaps for friends to shoot through while remaining safe.
Ranked Reloaded
Season 13 will also include Apex Legends’ Ranked mode, dubbed “Ranked Reloaded” by Respawn.

Apex Season 13 Maps
Season 13 adds a few new features to the Storm Point map. The washed-up carcass of the Downed Beast, which we saw in the Saviors cinematic last month, will be the most noticeable.
