The Supreme Court is considering a Mississippi case that could overturn Roe v. Wade, the nearly 50-year-old decision that establishes a constitutional right to abortion.
For the time being, the draft decision has no bearing on Texas' abortion and reproductive health care laws.
Senate Bill 8, which prohibits most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, was passed by the legislature.
