Nobody anticipated John Wick would turn into a series when Keanu Reeves initially shot his way back into the action genre in 2014, but we did know we wanted more right away. John Wick 4 Release date
The release date of John Wick: Chapter 4 was initially scheduled for May 21, 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Reeves’ issues with The Matrix: Resurrections, the release date was delayed a year to May 27, 2022. It has since been rescheduled for March 24, 2023.
The cast of John Wick 4
Along with Reeves returning in the lead role as the titular hitman, Ian McShane’s return for the fourth John Wick film was also recently announced by Stahalesky. In a statement at the time, the director remarked, “I couldn’t be happier than to welcome Ian McShane back to John Wick: Chapter 4.” In addition to being a fantastic performer, he has been a crucial contributor to creating the universe of John Wick.
Lance Reddick and Laurence Fishburne are more well-known actors confirmed for the fourth instalment. Skarsgard also discussed how he first became interested in the series as an action movie enthusiast and then joined the production after getting along well with Stahelski:
“I think the movies are very entertaining. I’ve always been a fan of these over-the-top, exploitive action movies…Chad [Stahelski] reached out to me, and I met him a few times and liked him. It was an enjoyable role. I’m not going to go into detail [about] what it is, but it was a fun role and a fun world. I like movies. I think they’re entertaining and it is something that I haven’t done before. That’s always something that does inspire me, for whatever it is. It’s like, ‘Okay, this is a project or genre or something I haven’t done, so let’s try it out and have fun within those genre constraints.’ So, I’m looking forward to it.”

He’s got nowhere to go. Honestly, I challenge you right now. Here’s a question: How do you want me to end it? Do you think he’s going to ride off into the fucking sunset? He’s killed 300 fucking people, and he’s just going to [walk away], everything’s okay? Is he just going to fall in love with a love interest? If you’re this guy, if this guy really exists [ed], how will this guy’s day end? He’s fucked for the rest of his life. It’s just a matter of time.”
