Consistency is critical when the economy is uncertain. Twitter users will inevitably be outraged at one point or another. One of the highlights of the Super Bowl is the commercials. The latest season will inevitably confuse American Horror Story fans.
We know surprisingly little about American Horror Story: 1984’s upcoming season over a year after the series premiered. Which theme does it follow? Cast members: who is in the movie? What is the release date for the book? The answer to the above question is unknown, but we have some pretty good clues and reasonable guesses.
What will happen in the upcoming season of American Horror Story?
FX’s hit horror drama is going to triple. Not only is it happening. FX had already renewed AHS through Season 13 in January 2020, so we knew it would return for a tenth in 2018. It’s not a sign that the show’s end is near because there wasn’t a new season last year. The COVID-19 craze has marked this year’s TV season, often referred to as the ‘continuity theme.’
Two of the stories in this season take place on land and two on the sea. There is a mystery surrounding the stories that are to be shared. We received our first concrete clue in the form of Mr. Murphy’s direct post. He shared a photo, captioned “American Horror Story,” of what was said to be Provincetown, Mass. in May last year. That’s a literal interpretation of the subtitle. The plot thickens.
Provincetown’s Selectmen are another component to consider. A recent request for permission to film appeared for a project titled “Pilgrim.”. They have a clue, but it isn’t worth taking too seriously. In many shows and movies, codenames come up during the filming process.
Now let’s talk about Murphy himself. In an interview with The Wrap, Murphy revealed that the original idea for Season 10 relied on the weather. Murphy says he wasn’t sure how much of what he would shoot would be impacted by the weather. Therefore, I am not sure. There are no plans for the future. The show is on hiatus until I decide what to do next. It might be a bit sooner next season, or I might wait to shoot this until next year.
All of this means what? If we take it at its word, that on-location name might suggest that the season is about pilgrims. Freak Show, American Horror Story’s previous delve into the past, even featured early Americans in Roanoke. Additionally, with Double Feature, there’s the actual name to consider. Are these “Science Fiction/Double Feature” segments from The Rocky Horror Picture Show? Murphy has not been shy about expressing his admiration for the cult musical. Even though it seems the new season will have an over-the-top theme, that’s what we know so far. Are we nostalgic for an era when drive-in movies were commonplace, like old Hollywood movies? Exactly who knows?
Part of us would like to imagine that at least half of season 4 contains mermaids, which have sharp teeth and love the sea. You may also prefer sirens. Something is intriguing about the idea of a group of dangerous beauties waiting to catch unwitting victims.
You get to see enough returning actors while also getting to meet some new ones. In addition to Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock remaining, there are many new faces included in Season 10. That’s what you read right there. The scream-queen Sarah Paulson is back with a vengeance, while Evan Peters broods. A new cast member will also be joining the show in the upcoming season-model Kaia Gerber and actor Macaulay Culkin. It’s Culkin that’s worth watching, though.
In terms of sex, Murphy said that Culkin felt inclined to say yes once he saw the show would feature “crazy, erotic” sex between her character and Kathy Bates. In other words, he does other things besides having erotic sex with Kathy Bates. As soon as he heard the offer, he thought, ‘man, this is the role I was born to play.’ So, he signed up immediately and signed up,” Murphy told E! Easily accessible online. According to the Culkin brothers, two of them have a thing for older women.
The premiere date will occur shortly. The premiere of American Horror Story: Double -Feature airs on Wednesday, August 25 at 10/9c. This show will only debut one episode its first night instead of two on other FX shows. On Thursday, August 26, Thursday’s episode will be available on FX on Hulu as well.
