1 dead after hiking group gets lost in Arizona park

According to authorities, one individual passed away after a group of hikers in Arizona's Sara Park got disoriented and dehydrated.

A 63-year-old woman, a 27-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man were discovered "out of water, dehydrated, and showing signs of heat exhaustion" 

when the Lake Havasu City Fire Department arrived at the 1,100-acre park on Friday, 

According to a statement from the Mohave County Sheriff's Office over the weekend. 

At about 2:30 p.m., the fire department asked the sheriff's office for help.

The National Weather Service said that the high temperature on Friday was 104 degrees. 

The male was escorted to a command post, and the women were taken for medical attention, according to the sheriff's office.
