Renowned Indian actor, Akshay Kumar’s mother passed away today on September 8 as she was facing illness. She was admitted to Mumbai’s Hiranandani hospital on September 3rd as her condition was really critical and the actor shared the sad news on his official Twitter account by saying “I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence.”
On September 7 Akshay Kumar thanked all of his fans who were showing love and well wishes for his mother as Aruna Bhatia was admitted to the hospital. On Wednesday Akshay Kumar shared the sad news of his mother’s death and wrote “She was my core. Today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti (sic).”
Akshay canceled his UK trip as he came to know about his mother’s ill health and flew back to Mumbai so that he could be with his mother. His mother has been unwell for a few days and that’s why she got admitted to the Hiranandani hospital. He has been shooting for his upcoming film Cinderella and he shared the news about his mom on his Twitter account. He wrote “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help (sic).” All of Akshay Kumar’s fans and colleagues have been expressing their deepest condolences to the family who is suffering from the pain. Akshay always had a beautiful bond with his mother and in 2015 he spoke about his relationship with his mom saying “The bond between a mother and her son is so strong yet so gentle…nothing could come between us, no amount of miles or continents can keep us from letting each other know every day that I would be nothing and no one without her.” Akshay’s family and fans have been his biggest support system to him and all of his friends and family members are also supporting the actor in this toughest time of his life.
The actor has been recently seen in the spy thriller movie Bellbottom. It was the very first movie to release in the theatres after the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. He has many other upcoming projects including Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi and Anand L Rai’s Atrangi Re.
