As per the news that was given before the JioPhone Next will not be released on Friday that is 10th of September. The affordable smartphone will be available on the market before the festival of Diwali and the exact date is 4th November. Reliance planned that the JioPhone Next will be rolled out before the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. However, it did not go as per the plan. As per the last press release the company opened up that the JioPhone Next is in advance the trial stage and thus it will be launched before Diwali.
The delay is noted in the final statement of the JioPhone Next the price and availability of the JioPhone Next and it might be caused by the global shortage which is making it very hard for the manufacturers to keep up with the demand of the growing market. The smartphone is developed by Reliance Jio and they have worked with alphabet-owned Google. The target by the company is 300 million potential customers in India who are willing to use the phone for the speeches and the JioPhone Next is now being called one of the most affordable smartphones by Reliance Jio. Due to the collective work of reliance as well as Google, it will bring a lot of features to the phone, and also so it might include the Android operating system and the cost efficiency of Jio.
 As per the statement given by the firms, “Both companies have begun testing the JioPhone Next with a limited set of users for further refinement and are actively working to make it available more widely in time for the Diwali festive season. This additional time will also help mitigate the current industry-wide, global semiconductor shortage.” The big deal between reliance and Google was signed back in 2020 and the surgery in Google invested around 33, 737 crores to gain a 7.73 % stake in the Jioplatform.Â
The features of the JioPhone Next
The phone will come with deep integration of Google Voice Assistant and also it has automatic read-aloud off-screen text language translation which makes it one of the most useful phones for many potential customers. The camera on the smartphone is rumored to be a 13mp shooter and it will also support augmented reality filters and the phone is also manufactured in such a way that it will support multiple Indian regional languages. Some of the rumors regarding the Jiophone next will come with a Qualcomm QM 215 SoC along with 2 or 3GB of Ram and other 16 or 32 GB of internal storage. Well, the smartphone will be running on Android 11 out of the box and also will feature a 5.5 ” HD display.
