Several films have been influenced by other movies and have gone on to become outstanding cult films. In reality, certain films are among the most popular in the film industry, and we have no idea that the plots of those films were based on the plots of other films. There are a few remarkable Bollywood films whose screenplays are being copied by practically every other film industry. And the film A Wednesday is only one example of how different industries came knocking on Bollywood’s door to borrow the scripts.

Breaking Away || Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar is another superhit film that was inspired by the 1979 film Breaking Away. This Bollywood film was one of the most popular at the time of its release. Although there are some notable variations, the fundamental concepts appear to be somewhat similar. And, as much as we like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Breaking Away did the same thing in 1979.
Sangam || Pearl Harbor
Ben Affleck’s film Pearl Harbor was nominated for four Oscars shortly after its release. However, the film appears to be based on Raj Kapoor’s Sangam, a movie about a love triangle set against the backdrop of war. Both films are fantastic and are relatively decent dramas. As a result, you may watch either one whenever you want an excellent dramatic film.
Kimba the White Lion || The Lion King
Audiences have been pleading with Disney to give credit to the creators of Kimba for having a significant effect on the characters since the film’s premiere. And we got the impression that The Lion King was a Hamlet adaptation. The creators of Simba and Co have consistently denied any ties to Kimba.
However, when the film was released in Japan, over 400 Japanese cartoonists and animators signed a letter urging Disney to credit and honour Kimba.
Miracle || Chak De India
We had a great time seeing Chak De India, and sure, we initially saw it because of Shah Rukh Khan. Nevertheless, after seeing the film, we discovered that it had a compelling plot to watch. Following that, we learned that the film is based on another great Hollywood classic, Miracle.
If you haven’t seen the film Chak De India yet, know that both films are about hockey teams that overcame all obstacles to win Olympic gold or the World Cup. Both SRK and Kurt Russell delivered similar speeches and enabled their respective teams to do so. Even though the subplots aren’t identical due to many people in both films, they are, at their core, the same.
Hitch || PartnerÂ
If we’re talking about movies that were blatantly copied from another and still became enormous hits, we can’t overlook Partner and Hitch. Both films are absurd slapstick comedies that succeed in their unique ways while yet having distinct subplots. However, by the film’s conclusion, both strictly follow the same principle, and as a result, you will feel similar to how they should be in reality. And Hitch came out a long time before Partner.
