He posted a video on his Instagram account describing his long-standing affection for Super Mario Bros. and his enthusiasm and dedication to the undertaking. He playfully remarked, “It’s me,” with a trace of an Italian-American accent from New York before adding, That’s not the voice.
You’ll have to wait to hear the real one. The role of Luigi, Mario’s brother, will be played by Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). The It’s Always Sunny wildcard, Luigi, is better suited to his more sloppy, furious, and eccentric nature.
