Flynne Fisher (Chloe Grace Moretz), a teenage gamer with a hopeless job in a 3D printing business in rural America in the not-too-distant future, is the subject of the new Prime Video series The Peripheral. She sees a murder after being asked by Flynne’s brother Burton (Jack Reynor) to take over his shift, beta-testing what she believes to be a video game. She then finds that she wasn’t playing a drone-piloting simulation game but instead was flying an actual drone in the film.
So Flynne and her brother go into serious problems. Flynne, the only witness to a murder, must work with people from the future to catch the assailant before they destroy her family.
