Qatar Invites Indian Fugitive Zakir Naik To Preach Islam At Fifa World Cup

For the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar has invited Zakir Naik

an Islamic preacher from India who is banned there. 

Naik has been a fugitive in Malaysia since 2017

when he was wanted for money laundering and inciting violence in his home country of India.

Faisal Alhajri, a host on the Qatari state-owned sports channel Alkass, tweeted

"Preacher Sheikh Zakir Naik is present in Qatar during the World Cup and will give many religious lectures throughout the tournament."
