Baby elephant gets reunited with its family. Watch the heartwarming video now!

We often get to see many videos of animals getting reunited with their family after getting rescued after a very long time with the help of the officials and the Forest Department. Well, a similar video of a baby elephant meeting its family after a very long time is taking the internet by storm. The forest department in Tamil Nadu did their best and their efforts did not go to waste. The officials from the forest department in India helped a baby elephant to reunite with his family and mother. 

The initiative for this step taken for the baby elephant initially began at the Mudumalai National Park which is located in the breathtaking location of Nilgiri mountains. A video that was shared on Twitter showed how the officials took the initiative and successfully led the entire operation to search for the baby elephant’s family. In the viral video, one can see that the baby elephant can be seen attentively following the rescue team to reach its family.

 The video was initially shared on Twitter by Supriya Sahu. She is the Tamil Nadu Principal Secretary (Environment and Forests) and was seen praising the forest officials for their efforts. Along with sharing the video, she also wrote a caption that said, “A kutty baby elephant was reunited with the family after rescue by TN foresters in Mudumalai. Most heartwarming indeed. Kudos (to the officials).”

The video ever since was available online went crazy viral and currently has more than 146,000 views, so far. All the social media users who watched the video were very happy with the baby elephant and also praised the officials for their hard work. In the second tweet by Sahu, she said “Incredible outpouring of love on the kutty baby elephant, who was reunited with the herd by TN Foresters.” She also accompanied her second tweet with a beautiful video where the cute baby elephant is climbing a narrow elevated portion. After it spotted its mother it was really happy and ran towards her in the video. 

“The kutty blows a big trumpet while approaching the mother. Well done Sachin, Vengatesh Prabhu, Prasad, Vijay, George Praveenson, Thamba Kumar, Aneesh, Kumar, and APW team Pandalur,” said the IAS officer. The Mudumalai National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is also a tiger reserve which is located in the northwestern Nilgiri Hills. It is around  150 km from Coimbatore and is a protected area. The place is home to several endangered species and the Indian elephant, the Bengal tiger, and the Indian leopard.
