Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Arrested In New York
On Thursday, the Pakistani Foreign Office dismissed as "lies" rumours that Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had been arrested in New York.
The topic of Bilawal Bhutto's purported arrest in New York came up during Mumtaz Zahra Baloch's weekly press conference as the spokesperson for Pakistan's Foreign Office (FO).
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto's alleged arrest in New York was deemed a "lie" and "contrary to facts" by Baloch, according to media in Pakistan.
Although Bhutto was currently in New York, rumours and unconfirmed reports of his arrest circulated while he was there.
Pakistan's foreign minister resurrected the Kashmir dispute last week and called India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi
the "butcher of Gujarat" in an insulting attempt to gain political leverage.
According to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, "the butcher of Gujarat lives, and he is the prime minister of India," while Osama bin Laden has been killed.
