A few days back the well-known music label Saregama informed that on 21st October they will release Adhura, which features Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill. The song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arco and this will be considered as a tribute to the late actor Siddharth Shukla who passed away last month in September. This song is considered as a gift to SidNaaz fans, this song will feature footage of the unfinished song featuring the duo. This song is going to be special and emotional for all the SidNaaz fans out there.
While it is known that the music video will release on October 21st singer Shreya Ghoshal shared the poster of the music video on Saturday. The poster features SidNaaz caught in a fun moment. The picture looks like it is hand-painted and it carries the words, “Ek Adhura Gaana, Ek Adhuri Kahani. A SidNaaz song (an incomplete song, an incomplete story)”. As Shreya posted the poster, she penned a heart-touching note, addressing him as a star, and saying that the fan demanded to release SidNaaz’s incomplete song. She wrote, “He was a star and will be forever… The love of millions of hearts will shine bright forever. #Habit our unfinished song.. #Adhura hai par phir bhi poora rahega.. #SidNaaz ka yeh aakhri gaana, har fan ki khwahish, hamesha ke liye humare dilon mein zinda rahega. Releasing on the 21st October.”
Shreya Ghoshal’s post gained a lot of love and support from her and SidNaaz fans as they got emotional seeing SidNaaz togetherness and playfulness in the poster. A fan wrote, “SidNaaz is forever alive in our hearts”, while another praised Shreya for the tribute. “Your caption & such dedication revived this whole project. #Adhura is now the emotion to us,” they wrote. And not only fans, other actors such as Arjun Bijlani also seemed to be touched by this ‘beautiful’ and emotional tribute. He tweeted, “Sidharth will continue to live in our hearts forever..and the charm of #SidNaaz will always be alive..and even more through #Adhura..which is a beautiful tribute to Sidharth and everyone who dearly loved him..”
Earlier, Saregama shared in a statement that it received a lot of requests from the fans to release this song in some form. The first poster of the music video featured a candle and was titled ‘Adhura’. All the fans may be aware that Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill shot for a music video “Habit”, earlier this year, as many pics were also spreading and getting viral on the internet. Because of the lockdown and then the untimely death of Sidharth, the shoot remained incomplete. Now the music video Adhura will feature footage from the same shoot, presenting fans with one last look at their beloved actor. On the other hand, Shehnaaz Gill had her big release Honsla Rakh, along with Diljit Dosanjh. The film has been loved by everyone and fans are giving positive feedback and critics alike. The movie has got high ratings and is surely loved by everyone.
Earlier, as many SidNaaz fans know, photos from the shoot had gone viral, which was loved by everyone and the fans were too excited for the music video to get released. Photographer Ovez Sayed traveled along with the team to Goa and shared several candid shots of Sidharth and Shehnaaz from the shoot, treating all the fans with some cute pics of their favorite actors. According to the reports of the Indian Express, he told them, “It was a one-day shoot in Goa and we had so much fun. It was always a pleasure to work with such talented people. I miss Sidharth.
