Indeed the T20 World Cup 2021 has been an eventful affair so far and all the cricket fans have been raring to watch the action unfold in the big event. However, despite the ongoing tournament, a fan asked former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag who will win the title this year according to him.

Sehwag was quick enough to back the Virat Kohli-led side in the marquee event. So while answering the question he said that he surely believes and hopes that team India may lift the trophy this year. He also asked the cricket fans to support the Indian team at times of defeat, and avoid commenting and criticizing the Indian team.
During the latest episode of Virugiri Dot Com on Instagram, Virender Sehwag said, “According to me it’s team India who will win this T20 World Cup. They will only have to play better cricket from here onwards. We always cheer for our team when it wins but when it loses we have to support it even more. So I believe that India can win the T20 World Cup.”
Virender Sehwag also spoke about Pakistan, and while talking about their victory the former Indian opener said, “with this win, the chances of Pakistan going to semis are almost certain because their matches are against Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia. Even if they win their next two matches they will qualify for the semifinals.”
Well unfortunately team India did not have a positive start for their world cup campaign as the teams of the horns with Pakistan India opening fixture and got defeated by Pakistan. Though the men in blue started the match with the hope to win by considering their record against Pakistan in the ICC events, the team faced defeat by 10 wickets.
The Babar Azam-led side played well and thus broke India’s 12 matches winning streak and also registered a thumping victory in this game. Shaheen Shah Afridi was clinical with the ball as he sent back both the openers early. As we chased down the target of 152, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan both Pakistan’s openers played very well and surely helped to take the team past the victory.
Pakistan also defeated New Zealand in their second game on Tuesday by 5 wickets and made a solid case for themselves making sure that the team may reach the semi-final.
Even though India lost to Pakistan the next assignment is the match against New Zealand. Well, both the sides have lost their previous matches with Pakistan and will be keen on getting to winning days. It will surely be a crucial match for both the teams as a different hair will affect their chances of making it to the semifinals and may also return home
