West Indies has already been staring at an exit from the T20 World Cup semi-finals days but despite this batsman, Evin Lewis has proved why he is considered one of the best players in the team this year. Evin Lewis has unarguably been the finest performer for West Indies in the tournament, who has also scored runs in both of the team’s matches.
Well, when the T20I world cup started in 2007 it was not imaginable that the T20 format would rule the world and in 2021 while witnessing the seventh edition of the world cup, the T20 format is ruling the game. T20 cricket gave the world some amazing players and these years so to speak and all-time T20I is tough.

The Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals uploaded the video of Evin Lewis, and in the video, it can be seen that Evin Lewis was one by one choosing the players for his T20I XI. It seemed that it was tough for him to choose from the best players but he managed to do so. The tweet made by Rajasthan Royals has also gained a lot of likes.
Evin Lewis chose Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma as the openers for his all-time T20I XI. Well, it will be interesting to know that both Rohit Sharma and Chris Gayle have scored a combined tally of 4743 runs in T20Is. Also they both have blasted six centuries together
According to Evin Lewis, Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli will be positioned at number 3 while for the number 4th spot, AB De Villiers was chosen by him. Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in the T20I format of the game ( 3216 runs). On the other hand, De Villiers has scored 1672 runs at a strike rate over 135 in T20I cricket.
Talking about the number 5 spot, this position will be conquered by West Indian cricketing powerhouse Kieron Pollard. As per Evin Lewis, former Indian cricket legend and the current Chennai super kings skipper MS Dhoni will be perfect for the position of wicket-keeper and also as a captain for Evin Lewis’ all-time T20I XI.
The all-rounders who are chosen for Lewis’ all-time T20I XI are Andre Russell and Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja is the mainstay of the Indian T20I side and he has also scored 230 runs and has taken 39 wickets. Andre Russell on the other hand has scored 721 runs for the West Indies in 64 T20I. Andre Russell has also scored his runs at a whopping strike rate of 155.39. To complete Lewis’ all-time T20I XI, the three bowlers who are selected are Rashid Khan, Jasprit Burmah, and Mitchell Starc. Rashid Khan is considered as fourth highest wicket-taker in T20Is and has also scalped the whopping 99 wickets in 52 matches at an average of 12.21. Jasprit Bumrah has played 51 T20I matches and has scalped 59 wickets for the Indian side. Mitchell Starc, the Australian left-arm seamer has 55 wickets in T20I cricket.
