Well, it took only one hundred and three days and the shooting of Adipurus has come to an end now. Well, the amazing news was shared by the director Om Raut and he stated about wrapping up work on his magnum opus ‘Adipurus’. On the morning of Thursday, the director took to his official Instagram account to announce the film’s wrap and said, “It’s a shoot wrap for Adipurush!!! A wonderful journey has come to its finish line. Can’t wait to share with you the magic we have created,” he wrote along with sharing a picture with the film’s lead cast.
His post included a photo having cats members including Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan, and Devdatta Gajanan Nage. Well, it is true that the fans have been waiting for so long to hear about this good news, and finally, just a week after the team wrapped up work with leading cast Prabhas. The stunning actor will be seen playing Lord Rama in the movie and as per the reports, he completed the shoot of his part only in 100 days. The team celebrated the event on the sets of the film by a small location of cake cutting and a glimpse was shared with the fans too.Â
Also, fans took a peek into the celebrations, as director shared a picture along with the caption saying, “Last day, last shot and tons of amazing memories but the journey is not over yet! See you soon darling @actorprabhas.” Om’s post was followed by the posts by lead actors Kriti and Sunny, as they became a little nostalgic as they took to their official accounts. The actors were seen sharing a heartwarming post what’s the director as well as towards the entire team for working so hard. Dazzling actress Kriti shared Raut’s post and said, “Hats off to you for wrapping such a massive film so soon! @omraut one of my best experiences. Miss being on your set!! Lovely memories.”
Sunny Singh also posted a heartfelt and said, “These pictures spell love and mean the world to me! Speak volumes of a bond shared, My dad came to visit us on the set on the last day of our shoot. Can’t believe this beautiful journey of #Adipurush has come to an end. A journey that taught me so much and left me with memories and experiences of a lifetime. Thank you Om Sir for everything.” The movie is inspired from the Hindu epic saga of Ramayana. The movie features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. Described as a film celebrating “the victory of good over evil”, and talking about the release date of the movie, it is set to release on August 11, 2022.
