According to Poll, Kevin Durant and the Nets are absolute favourites; despite being defending champions, Bucks and western conference champion, Phoenix Suns got the least votes while Brooklyn is the overwhelming favourite. Durant is the favourite to win the second Career MVP award; he will be the 15th player to win in NBA history and the fourth oldest.
The panel who voted for NBA Predictions clearly see Houston’s Jalen Green win the Rookie player of the year while Cade Cunningham Was the second favourite. One name that was surprisingly absent by the panel, the four-time winner and laker star LeBron James. Defensive player of the year has two names: Utah’s Rudy Gobert, winner in three of last four seasons and Anthony Davis, Lakers Big man. If Gobert managed to win this season, he would match Ben Wallace and Dikembe Mutombo for most league history.
Denver’s Michael Porter Jr. Is a trendy pick for the most improved player this breakout season. At the same time, Utah’s Jordan Clarkson and Miami’s Tyler Herro were voted for last year’s sixth man of the year and Leaders for season’s top reserve, respectively.

As expected, Kevin Durant is at the top of the table with 29.5 points, followed by Stephen Curry with 27.4, Paul George with 26.7, Giannis Antetokounmpo with 26.6 and Ja Morant with 26.5 are the top 5 on the season leaders so far.
The Lakers big man Anthony Davis is standing at 14 positions with 23.9 points. Rudy Gobert, who was expected to win defensive player of the year, is standing at 63rd position with 15.0 points.
However, this is still early in the tournament; these positions will see a sweeping change as the tournament moves forward.
