As per the resources, the team of New Zealand has refused to be a part of the U19 World Cup and thus the team will not participate in any of the matches that will be held in the West Indies in the year 2022. The team of Kiwis decided to withdraw because of compulsory quarantine requirements that are in place for minors. So, fans will get to see Scotland playing in the place of New Zealand in the tournament.
Reportedly, the team of Scotland will be a part of Group D. The group consists of many other teams including West Indies, Australia, and Sri Lanka. The most awaited tournament is already underway on 14th January 2022. The summit clash of the tournament is scheduled to take place at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground. Talking about the previously happened U19 World Cup, the team of Bangladesh won and the Bangladeshi Tigers were successful to beat the team India in the finals.
