Current news of a Brazilian man who was successful in building a helicopter that could fly and is completely made of scrap cars is taking the internet by storm. Yes, you read that right. This Brazilian man is becoming super famous on the internet for his “jugaad”. The fact that he has used only parts from scrapped cars to build this helicopter has hit the headlines now. In the now going viral video, you can see that a scruffy chopper made with discarded car parts is being shared on several social media platforms.
As per the report, this can helicopter is powered by a Volkswagen Beetle’s engine was successfully seen flying. The viral video, originating from Rio Grande do Norte (RN), has taken social media by storm. Many social media users who have watched the video and now stating, “have never seen something like this” and “it’s crazy” to see the aircraft take off so smoothly. As per the reports which were given by local news outlet Caico, the helicopter was made and designed by a resident of the city of João Dias. This resident always wanted to ride a helicopter and never managed to do so and thus he decided later to build his helicopter.
All the social media and users who came to know about him and his helicopter were left completely stunned. Also in the video, you can see that many people were seen gathering out on the street, which the talented man used as a runway to fly his aircraft. The way many people gathered to witness the amazing sight and the man who made the helicopter is identified as Genesis Gomes by G1 Globo. He stated that he has been interested in aviation since childhood and anyone in his town knows about him because of a parked aircraft outside his home. Also, the one he was onboard recently wasn’t something that he made.
He stated, “There was the gyroscope of a friend of mine, from Catolé do Rocha, Paraíba. It was the first time. We flew over the city of João Dias very high. It was really good.” The flight took place at an aviation event in the city of Paraíba. He was invited to exhibit the aircraft and as per the reports “The aircraft’s engine is from a Volkswagen Beetle, but it also has motorcycle, truck, car and bicycle parts. All materials purchased in scrap metal. Even the faucet at the mother’s house became a piece for the plane.” Well, he couldn’t get a chance to fly his plane, he took suggestions from many people whom he met at the aviation event and has decided to work more on a design.
