Season one was the top crowd-funded TV series or film project of all time, and it is the first multi-season series about the life of Jesus. Erick Avari as Nicodemus and Elizabeth Tabish as Mary Magdalene lead an excellent cast. This cast’s strength is not tense, dramatic situations, and they often fall short in those scenes. Some of these dramatic scenes are aided by a lovely music.
THE CHOSEN contains some violence, such as several fistfights and a few beatings. A tavern is the setting for several events, and excessive drinking is seen on several occasions. As a result, younger viewers should exercise caution when watching select episodes of THE CHOSEN. The show’s strong Christian message, on the other hand, will be welcomed by families all around the world.
