It’s been quite months passed, still we can’t get over the fact that Sidharth Shukla is not with us anymore. It is really heartbreaking that the actor left everyone at just the age of 40. The news not only broke his family, but also his fans all around. Not forgetting to mention Sidharth’s close friend and also rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill. The SidNaaz fans, the name by which fans use to ship them, those fans felt the heartbreak too. And recently on Tuesday, the late actor’s family has issued a statement on the late actor.
On Tuesday, Sidharth Shukla’s family released a statement for the late actor. It urged everyone to ask the family consent before using Sidharth’s name in projects. It was also posted by Sidharth Shukla’s close friend and actor Shehnaaz Gill. The statement mentioned:
“We, as a family, come with a request, which we hope everyone will respect. Sidharth has moved on and no longer can he make decisions for himself, but he’s still an integral part of our lives and our memories and we are there to protect his wishes. We request everyone who wants to use Sidharth’s name and/or face in any project, please reach out to us. Please take a moment to ask us,” mentioned the statement. The family also asked for “love” and “respect” for the late actor.
“We knew Sidharth’s choices, we knew what he would have wanted and our decisions for him would be keeping all this in mind. And if there were projects that he wasn’t happy with, we are sure he wouldn’t want them released. Anything that did not release when he was with us, did not have his consent or intent for release,” the statement mentioned further. The family also asked fans to keep his wishes in mind: “So please let’s keep his wishes in mind and let’s remember him with love, with respect, with fond memories, the ones he left us with,” the statement concluded.
Many fans reacted to the statement which was first issued by the family and also Shehnaaz Gill. The fans were really upset by the fact that the later actor’s family had to issue a statement for this. They had to do this just to prevent the usage of his name for the projects, which is done so for grabbing audiences.
Sidharth Shukla died on September 2, 2021. The sudden death was due to a heart attack. The late actor made his first appearance in the famous daily soap Balika Vadhu: Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte. Through this, he became the well known face among all. The late actor also featured in various other TV shows like, Dil Se Dil Tak alongside Rashami Desai. He also participated in TV reality shows. Some of them were Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6. He also won Bigg Boss season 13. He also featured in Shashank Khaitan’s directorial Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. In the movie, Sidharth was seen opposite Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. He also made appearances in several music videos. Two of which were with his friend and fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill.
While, on the professional front, Shehnaaz Gill featured in many Punjabi MVs and films. Some of the well known projects are Kala Shah Kala and Daaka. The actress also got featured in a music video along with rapper Badhshah. Shehnaaz Gill was lastly seen in a Punjabi film, Honsla Rakh. She got casted along with Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa, which was a super hit. The film was an amazing hit which got a lot of love from many.
