After accepting Watford’s “Siren Call,” Roy Hodgson is ready for a dogfight.

Despite admitting he couldn’t resist the “siren call from the mermaid,” Roy Hodgson is up for the challenge of Watford’s relegation war. Former England manager Hodgson resigned from his last post at Crystal Palace eight months ago, sparking rumours that he will step down. “I think it’s more than doable,” Hodgson said during his first Watford press conference on Wednesday. “I wouldn’t have accepted the assignment if I didn’t believe we can assist the club stay in the Premier League.”
