Title of Avatar 2: Welcome to Avatar The Way of Water

As previously indicated, Avatar 2 is now referred as as Avatar: The Way of Water.

Who is returning from Avatar 2’s cast in Avatar: The Way of Water?

The original Avatar’s main cast members are all under contract, therefore they will all be present when the movie is released.

Neytiri, the princess of the Na’vi, will once again be played by Zoe Saldaa, while Jake Sully, the human-turned-Na’vi, will once again be played by Sam Worthington.

The deceased Colonel Miles Quaritch comes returned as Stephen Lang, and he will serve as the four films’ major antagonist. In the follow-up, he claimed, he’ll be able to “truly go to town and analyse the character in detail” (via The National).

What is the storyline for Avatar 2’s The Way of Water?

We also received the first official summary for the sequel along with the title announcement, although it didn’t add anything new to what we already knew:

“Jake Sully resides on the planet of Pandora with his newly established family. Jake must cooperate with Neytiri and the Na’vi race’s army to defend their world as a recurring threat returns to complete what it started “It is read.
