The crime thriller web series “Aashram,” directed by Prakash Jha, is widely regarded as the best MX Player original. Both seasons of Aashram have struck a chord, leaving fans wondering when “Aashram Season 3” will be released. The show’s producers have confirmed that it will be renewed for a Aashram Season 3. It has the right plot, star power, cast, and an original MX Player series.
The Aashram Season 3 was awarded ‘The ITA Landmark Show’ at the 20th Indian Television Academy Awards. It demonstrates that the series provides a whole entertainment bundle.
Now for the ever-increasing excitement for the Aashram Season 3.
Season 2 concluded on a cliffhanger, leading everyone to anticipate that Aashram Season 3 would be the next instalment.
The first season of Ashram premiered on August 28 and consisted of nine episodes. The public reacted positively to Ashram chapter 2, which aired on November 11. The MX player original web series was packed with nine episodes and garnered an IMDb rating of 7.4 and a 4.3/5 on Google.
After a one-month hiatus after the release of Ashram 2, we’re back. On the other hand, the popularity index was a little lower on the scale, scoring 3/5 on NDTV and 3.5/5 on Times of India. An original flagship programme was enough to get it renewed on MX Player.
Furthermore, the fact that Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger was enough to hint that Aashram Season 3 is on the way.
Fans have been waiting for Aashram Season 3’s release date and spoilers for more than five months. Although it’s impossible to anticipate whether the forecasts will come true, we hope they will settle down and meet your expectations.
Release Date for Aashram Season 3:
Because Seasons 1 and 2 have a 2-3 month gap between them, it was expected that the show would premiere in early 2021. In other words, by the end of January 2021, it was safe to predict that Aashram Season 3 would arrive. But with the new COVID strain and lockdown, the Aashram Season 3 shooting schedule has to postpone.
According to the Ashram report, production was in full swing.
Given the current COVID issue and controversies, the producers have opted to begin filming in Jaipur on September 10. The group will travel to Bhopal and stay there till the first week of November. Darshan Kumar, the main character in the online series, has confirmed this. Aashram Season 3 was supposed to go on floors on April 6, and there were rumours that Aashram Season 3 would premiere in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The filming of Aashram Season 3 began in Bhopal and its environs in the first week of October. The team will be here for around two months, and it will be followed by 2-3 weeks of post-production and dubbing.
It’s realistic to expect the Aashram Season 3 release date to be in the first quarter of 2022, most likely in June-July 2022. These are only speculations based on recent updates from the series’ primary actor Sandeep. According to him, the filming and dubbing is ready.
As soon as we have definite information, we will post it here.
Meanwhile, Bobby Deol’s Instagram account has posted a motion video. Though no official date is ready, the motion poster suggests that an announcement be out shortly.
Aashram Season 3 Trailer
In his series Ashram, Prakash Jha portrays the humorous perspective surrounding self-proclaimed Godmen, with the words “Ashram depending on whatever baba” crossing his mind. Although there are some fictional elements in the novel, most of it is based on the deeds of Gurmeet Ram Rahim, a self-proclaimed Godman. However, it remains one of the most well-received series on the subject.
The trailer for Aashram Season 3 has yet to be out by the creators, and it will most likely be out a few weeks before the release. However, keep an eye on this space for official updates as they become available.
Aashram 3 Cast
Jha follows through on his promises. According to the newest news, Esha Gupta, who played Bobby Deol’s publicist in Jannat 2, is the cast in the role of Bobby Deol‘s publicist. In this job, she will be in charge of Baba Nirala’s press and public image, and she’ll portray him as the Messiah of the oppressed!
- Bobby Deol as Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala / Monty
- Chandan Roy Sanyal as Bhopa Bhai / Bhopa Swami / Bhupendra Singh
- Aaditi Pohankar as Parminder aka Pammi
- Tushar Pandey as Satti aka Satwinder Lochan
- Darshan Kumar as SI Ujagar Singh
- Anupriya Goenka as Dr Natasha
- Tridha Choudhury as Babita

- Anil Rastogi as CM Sundar Lal
According to recent reports, Yogendra Verma of Jagriti fame cast in Aashram Season 3. Details on his character’s representation are still happening.
It is sheer speculation as to when the episodes in Aashram Season 3 will air. Keeping consistent with previous seasons, I’d say 9.
Aashram Season 3 plot:
Following on from the events of Ashram 1, we witness Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol) become increasingly cruel in his quest for supremacy. He relies on unscrupulous politicians to disguise his tracks while preying on helpless women.
As a conman, he is famous for concealing his simple objectives from the public and putting up a false front in front of his followers. Ujagar Singh, a cop, sets out to apprehend Baba Nirala, who does not appear to be the person he claims to be. The skeletons and bodies on the Ashram grounds serve as a spark for the plot.
The question is whether or if the cop will uncover Baba’s crimes.
Some adherents’ loss of faith in him contributes to the mystery’s unravelling, with numerous others desiring vengeance.
Aashram Season 3 is the climax, with Baba being out. It’s still unclear whether Aashram Season 3 will be the final instalment or if the creators will continue to show the nefarious plans!
Recap
The second season follows up where the first left off, with Baba becoming nastier by the day and politicians becoming more greedy by night. A couple of his victims have also woken up from their wallowing and are now hell-bent on vengeance. Is this the end of an era or the start of something new?
Baba Nirala Ji Maharaj, aka Baba Kashipur Wale’s (Bobby Deol) reign of terror in Kashipur (Uttar Pradesh), continues and becomes grimmer. With Baba’s hand over his head, Bhopa (Chandan Roy Sanyal) is powerless to stop him.
Babita (Tridha Choudhury) has matured, and Pammi’s (Aditi Pohankar) life has altered dramatically. Characters who kept mute throughout season one, such as Sanobar and Kavita, finally summoned the confidence to speak up about their backstories. Dr Natasha Kataria (Anupriya Goenka) is leading Ujagar Singh (Darshan Kumaar) on a mission, and Akki (Rajeev Siddhartha) is not going to let him down. The second instalment of this criminal thriller focuses on two facets of Baba’s numerous organised crimes: sexual exploitation and drug trafficking.
