BTS member Suga has tested positive for Covid-19. The news was confirmed by BTS’ agency Big Hit Music. Taking to Weverse, the agency released a statement telling fans of Suga’s diagnosis and promising to do all possible to help him recover quickly.
Suga has not communicated with his fellow BTS members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. SUGA received his second round of COVID-19 vaccination in late August and is currently free of symptoms. He is currently providing self-care at home in accordance with the healthcare authorities’ guidelines. SUGA, who had a number of personal engagements in the United States during BTS’ official time off, had tested negative for the PCR test done before leaving for the United States, and began his self-quarantine after returning to Korea and taking the PCR test.
During his quarantine, he had positive findings and had no interaction with the other members. The company prioritises the artists’ health, and we will do all possible to assist SUGA in his quick recovery. We shall also work tirelessly to comply with the healthcare authorities’ requirements and guidelines.
