“Condor” is an espionage thriller starring Max Irons. It’s based on the novel “Six Days of the Condor” by author James Grady. Actor Max Irons has previously made appearances in “The White Queen” and “The Wife”. He is also the son of the fellow actor Jeremy Irons. Irons plays as Joe Turner who is a CIA analyst. He hopes to improve the organization from within. But his view is then thrown for a loop. He sees his whole office murdered. The murders done by professional killers who then come for him too. He has to uncover a major conspiracy. Turner also has to fight for his life. He also tries to stop a plan that can result in killing millions. “Condor” made a good impression on audiences and critics. It also earned an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The amazing tv series premiered on the premium channel Audience. Back in June 2018, AT&T owned and operated it. After Season 1 premiered, audiences wanted a renewal of the series for a second season. But then AT & T shut down the channel all of a sudden in January 2020. Well, thankfully, the whole second season was already filmed by then. It was then Epix who picked up the show’s two seasons in order to air in 2021. There are many fans out there who want all updates of their favourite series. The fans of the show are eager to see what happens next with Turner, as they have been waiting for so long. Well, it is now hoped that Epix will see demand for the renewal of “Condor” for a third season as well. Here’s the information that we know so far about “Condor” Season 2.

The release date of Condor Season 2?

Well, it’s been more than three years since Season 1 of “Condor” got released. It was only a few months, and the show grabbed much popularity. The fans of the series were able to watch the new Season 2 episodes. It was then picked up by Epix. The network then made an announcement that they planned to air both Seasons 1 and 2 in 2021. Season 2 already aired for some international fans on the Nordic C More channel. It was also aired on Irish RTÉ2. Well, there are still other audiences who have not been able to view it yet. 

Season 1 has been available to watch on Epix for a while now. Season 2 of Condor premiered on Sunday, November 7, 2021. It aired with back-to-back episodes. The first episode of “Condor” Season 2 premiered at 9 PM ET. All the new episodes come out at the same time each following Sunday. The last two-episode finale released on December 26, 2021. It premiered on the premium cable channel (Fansided). In total, the second season of “Condor” will have 10 episodes. 

The cast of Condor Season 2?

Talking about the first season it also features Brendan Fraser in a recurring role. But the older actors of season 1 will not be coming back for Season 2. As for Season 1 cast returning, William Hurt will play Bob Partridge, Turner’s uncle. He recruited him to the CIA, and he will be back for a short appearance. Bob Balaban as Reuel Abbott, the Deputy Director of the CIA, can be seen again as main cast members. Young actors Sam McCarthy play the roles as Mae’s two sons, Sam Barber Jr. and Jude Barber, respectively.

From Season 1, it’s clear that there are quite a few new characters added to season 2. A couple of other prominent actors who joined the show’s cast include Eric Johnson as Tracy Crane. He plays the role of a man who works in intelligence.  He also starts a relationship with Mae.  Constance Zimmer played the role as Robin Larkin, the Director of National Intelligence. It’s showcased that he worked for the US government. Other new characters include Alexei Bondar as Vasili Sirin, Jonathan Kells Phillips as Volk. Also, Rose Rollins as Eva Piper, Isidora Goreshter as Kat Gnezdy, and more. 

What is the Story of Season 2 of Condor about?

In Condor Season 1, Turner stopped the dangerous conspiracy with success. He then gets out with his life. The finale of season 1 shows him a year later. He was then seen living in Italy with his girlfriend. It was not late when his peace got destroyed when he got a message from Gabrielle Joubert (Leem Lubany). Gabrielle is an assassin who was previously employed by the CIA. The CIA had ordered to kill him. She tells him that he is “the one that got away,” as he reignited his anger over the things that happened. Turner then manages to hack Abbott’s computer, intending to get revenge.

At the beginning of Season 2, it was then seen that Turner is still in Europe enjoying his newfound freedom. He then gets a call from his uncle Partridge that he ignores. Later he finally decides to call him back. Unfortunately, it was Abbott who answers the call. And tells him that Partridge supposedly died by suicide. But it became hard for Turner to believe him. He also has a realization that there is a mole in the CIA. So all this information draws Turner back to the organization. He gets involved in more trouble further. He and also others try to find the identity of the mole, so that they can stop their plans.
