Captain Kohli celebrated his 33rd birthday along with his other teammates at the India dressing room after gaining a massive win over Scotland in the super 12 match of T20 World Cup 2021. Mentor MS Dhoni led the celebration and also set up the birthday cake for his good friend and former team mate Virat Kohli on Friday in Dubai.
In the video which was shared by the board of control for cricket in India it was seen that Virat Kohli was cutting his birthday cake with his team mates. Virat Kohli turned 33 on Friday and the skipper got a best birthday present as India registered a dominant victory over Scotland in the must win match which was also conducted on Friday. The video was full of laughter and joy as along with the celebration of Virat Kohli’s Birthday day also celebrated the great win over Scotland.
Well, in addition to this, Virat Kohli also got the customary cake facial as the skipper’s face was full with the cake and cream. In the video which was shared by his teammates Suryakumar Yadav and Varun Chakravarty on Instagram, Virat Kohli can be seen posing for the camera even as the likes of Ishan Kishan and Rishabh pant are making sure that the cake doesn’t fall on the captain Virat Kohli’s head!
Virat Kohli also hinted at the silent birthday celebrations. The end was given by the cherished cricket player just after India’s win over Scotland. He said that after the match he will be spending some of his quality time with his family members on the special day. He also stated that this kind of celebration was enough for him, especially in the times of bio bubbles. Well also to make a note of, the dazzling actress and Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma and their daughter Vamika having been accompanying him during his match at the T20 world cup in the UAE.
“I think I am over that phase now. No, I mean, my family is here. Anushka and Vamika are here. That’s enough celebration for me. Just having families around in these times in bio-bubble life is very difficult. That’s a blessing in itself. The team has been amazing. Everyone wished me,” Kohli said.
