Prior to recently, the only information we knew about the film 65 was that it was written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, featured an astronaut, and was otherwise shrouded in mystery (the writing duo behind A Quiet Place). This inevitably led to it being one of the numerous new movies coming out in 2023 about which we were eager to find out more.
An unfortunate space traveler (Adam Driver) crashes lands on a strange planet 65 million years in the past, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, in the sci-fi thriller 65, which has been made known thanks to a new teaser (more on that below).
The two survivors have one chance at rescue before they are thrust into a deadly conflict with the planet’s terrifying wildlife as they travel across the world in an epic struggle to survive their tragedy. Here is all the information we currently have on 65.
’65’ FILM WILL HIT THEATRES SOON
The US premiere of 65 will be held exclusively in theatres on March 17. The film was supposed to come out on March 10, but Deadline (opens in a new tab) reported the change. It now has the same release date as Shazam! The Gods’ fury.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS FILM ?
“Pilot Mills rapidly realizes he is actually stranded on Earth. 65 million years ago, following a horrific collision on an alien planet. With just one opportunity left for rescue, Mills, and Koa, the other survivor, must now brave a terrifying prehistoric animal invasion in a desperate attempt to survive.”
CAST
Adam Driver is the main character in 65, as was already mentioned. He portrays the role of a future pilot named Mills who, after crashing-landing, finds himself in a fight with fierce predators from primordial Earth.
The driver is familiar with science fiction because of his role as Kylo Ren in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. He also made appearances in The Last Duel and House of Gucci in addition to his star turns in BlacKkKlansman and Marriage Story, which all garnered him Oscar nominations. White Noise, which will be available on Netflix on December 30, is where he was most last seen.
Because of the teaser, we are aware that Koa, who is played by Ariana Greenblatt, is the only other character who survived the crash and is accompanying Mills on his journey. Barbie and Borderlands both feature Greenblatt.
