Fans of ‘You’ will be happy to hear this. Season four of Joe Goldberg’s Netflix show has begun production, and he’s getting ready to make a frightening reappearance. The official Twitter account for the performance posted a set photo of a clapperboard with blood oozing from the title.
The episode will be directed by John Scott, who has previously directed episodes for the series. According to the tweet, “I’m having a YOU-4-ic day. Season 4 of YOU is currently in the works.”
The film ‘You,’ which is based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, asks, “What would you do for love?”
Penn Badgely plays Joe Goldberg, a man with a troubled past and a passion for books and writing. The series also depicts his perverted view of love and how he becomes captivated with the ladies who enter his life. Netflix has renewed ‘You’ for a fourth season in October 2021, just days before the show’s highly anticipated third season premieres. In the second and third seasons of the hit drama, Badgley and Victoria Pedretti played the key roles. Joe (Badgley) and Love Quinn (Pedretti) were married and raising their son in a Northern California suburb with an odd collection of neighbours in the third season.
After escaping his previous disaster, Season 4 of the thriller series would most likely pick up with Joe in Paris, France. He’s abandoned his son, feeling it’s in his best interests, and he’ll most likely seek out Marienne Bellamy, his season 3 romantic interest (Tati Gabrielle). Lukas Gage, best known for his role in ‘The White Lotus,’ has joined the cast of ‘You.’ He plays Adam, the son of a wealthy businessman, in the show. The official release date for the upcoming season of ‘You’ has yet to be announced by Netflix.
