Today, September 27 Google is celebrating its 23rd birthday. And to celebrate the 23 years of Google, the search engine has also come up with a cute doodle for its homepage. This amazing doodle features a cute two-tier cake with a candle on it which substitutes the “L” of the Google doodle. And it has also the number 23 inscribed on it. Well recording this the Twitter account of Google doodle has also posted a tweet along with the gif of this adorable doodle. It tweeted, “Happy 23rd birthday @Google! Starting as a prototype in the dorm rooms of two computer scientists, Google now answers millions of queries from users worldwide and 150 + languages celebrate with a slice of today’s sweet Google doodle.”
Google, which is one of the most used search engines globally, is co-founded by Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Well, the current CEO of Google is Sundar Pichai as he succeeded Larry Page on October 24th in 2015. But on the other hand, Larry Page took over the same position in Alphabet Inc, and on December 3rd, 2019, Sundar Pichai became the CEO of Alphabet Inc. as well. Alphabet Inc. which was created on October 2, 2015, was created through the reconstructing of Google and then gradually became a parent company and also its former subsidiaries.
It all started in 1997 when Sergey Brin, met Larry Page and both created a prototype of google in their dorm room. The two google founders were concentrating on building a search engine by the next year in their dorm rooms and then the two developers aimed to develop their prototype. So in this way, Google Inc was born officially in 1988.
As per the Google doodle page, it says, “Every day there are millions of searches on Google in more than 150 languages around the world and while much has changed from early days of Google from its first server how said in a cabinet built out of toy blocks to its servers now being housed in more than 20 data centers globally, its mission of making the world information accessible to everyone remains the same.” Vaishali Google makes everyone’s life easier with the help of its best and fast services and especially during pandemic times!
But it has to be noted that Google was technically founded on September 4th in 1988. And the company even observed its birth anniversary on the said date, but that year, they planned to shift the celebrations of the birthday to September 27th, so that they can coincide with the announcement of the record number of pages that the search engine was indexing.
Well actually, the history of the doodle itself dates back to one month before the time it was found. Talking about the doodle, the very first doodle was based on the long-running “Burning man” event, which took place in Black Rock City, located in Nevada.
