Apple has made a new addition by launching iPhone 13 series and the launching event was a huge success. Well, it has attracted many Indians due to the unique way that Apple decided to go for launching the new series. The launch of the ambitious smartphone took place on Tuesday in a virtual event. Well, CEO Tim Cook presented the smartphone to the audience, and all the desi netizens who watched it went crazy. The reason behind this is Apple playing a tune from the Bollywood song Dum Maaro Dum at the launching event. A very short clip of the launching event has now gone crazy viral on several social media platforms. The short video shows a delivery person who was using the latest iPhone smartphone to navigate while a tune remarkably similar to Dum Maaro Dum’s song played in the background. The event was streamed by 2 million viewers from around the globe, and after hearing the familiar tune, Indian netizens were really surprised.
After getting trendy on several social media platforms the fact that the song was mistaken for the iconic Zeenat Aman number was identified as Work All Day by Footsie. The song has drawn inspiration from the Bollywood classic only. Work All Day by Footsie was released in 2014. The song is very much similar to Dum Maaro Dum and thus many Bollywood lovers got confused. Some also confused the original Zeenat Aman song with the remixed version of the song Dum Maro Dum starring Deepika Padukone. The song was initially released in the year 1971 from the film Hare Krishna Hare Ram. The movie’s cast included Zeenat Aman and Dev Anand in lead roles and Asha Bhosle was the singer.
Dum Maro Dumm was composed by RD Burman. The remixed version of Dum Maro Dum starring Deepika Padukone was released in the year 2011 being the title track of the film Dum Maaro Dum. The new line comes in four sizes that are very much similar to the iPhone 12 series. The iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 pro, and iPhone 13 pro max are the sizes. With the tech giant doing away with the 64 GB storage model, the new entry-level capacity for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini is stated to be 128 GB. The year’s pro model has a 1TB storage model. The iPhone 13 series will be available to pre-order in India starting September 17, 5.30 pm IST. The smartphones will be available in the Indian market from September 24.
