Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Russell Westbrook, for the first time, took the court together in the Lakers 111-99 in a Preseason loss to the Golden State Warriors, giving us a Trailer of What’s coming.
The Warriors kicked off the fourth quarter led by 18 points from Jordan Poole while Otto Porter Jr. And Daminon Lee gave 16 apiece. Despite missing out on Draymond Green and Steph Curry, the warriors managed to lead their team to victory.
On the other hand, the Lakers led by Anthony Davis with a high of 20 points in 30 minutes while Westbrook added 10 points, Six dims, and 10 rebounds in 28+ minutes, and LeBron added 17 points, four assists, three steals, and six rebounds in 26 minutes.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr was as curious as any NBA observer while he sat on the visitors’ bench to see how League MVP Westbrook coordinated with Lakers star players Anthony Davis and LeBron James as called the “Big Three” to chase champions together.
For the first time ever, the veteran trio played together this preseason on Tuesday night, when each from the trio scored double digits in the first three quarters.
As per the reports, Vogel and the Lakers are happy with the closed-door practices of the team, and James even saying he believes they are more important than preseason games.
