A heartwarming video of a man singing ‘Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye’ from the 1990 movie Jurm is going all sorts of viral on social media which is earning all the attention and praises it deserves, which also includes Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and Kunal Kapoor.
This video of Shakeel, singing the famous song beautifully was initially posted on Twitter and Instagram by the handle named @ankit.today (Twitter). He posted the video along with a caption that reads, “When talent meets tech, the possibilities are endless.”
In the video which goes for 2.10-minute, the musician, identified as Shakeel, is seen singing the famous song beautifully while strumming his guitar, and also a small crowd surrounds him. The crowd seems to be enjoying the song and is also recording him with their phones. The video then shows a signboard that features several online payment platforms, his phone number for Google pay and Paytm, as well as a QR code so anyone who wants to contribute money can help Shakeel. On the board, the message reads, “Thank you for your contribution, It pays my music school fees.”
Once the video was shared online by Ankit, the video instantly went viral on social media platforms and gained much attention from Netizens. The netizens lauded the musician for his beautiful voice and the way he used technology for collecting the fees.
One Twitter user commented, “A QR code is a respectable option rather than a traditional bowl.” While another one wrote, “it really makes an individual realize the importance of hard-earned money.”
Yet another wrote, “this boy is so amazing. At least he is doing something which is making people happy and they are more than happy to contribute. Rather than taking the wrong way to earn money. love him completely.”
One user tagged t series and commented, “damn so good…what’s this gem doing on the streets @Tseries.”
The greatest thing is that this video was re-shared by actor Kunal Kapoor, who urged people to contribute to Shakeel. He captioned the video, “Brilliant! You can support this very talented and innovative musician from wherever you are. The power of UPI and technology.” This post was retweeted by Hrithik Roshan as well, who seemed to be very impressed by Shakeel’s amazing singing skills. He wrote, “Wow. How cool is this!!”
This amazing response from netizens and the Bollywood actors surely overwhelmed Shakeel. So he re-shared the clip on his Instagram account as he thanked the user who shared the video on Twitter and Instagram for “changing his life.”
He wrote:
