Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 has returned to our screens after a long absence.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 is a unique limited series streaming exclusively on Disney Plus that was first revealed at the D23 Expo in 2019. It is set to reunite famous Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 with his former Padawan turned Sith Lord, Darth Vader, in a climactic adventure that will bridge the gap between the prequels and the original trilogy of Star Wars films.

On Wednesdays, new episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 air on Disney Plus, with the most recent, episode 3, premiering on the streaming site on June 1.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 entire trailer teased some of the action we can expect to see as the Inquisitors hunt Obi-Wan around the galaxy and preview a confrontation with Luke’s surrogate father, Owen Lars (Joel Egerton).
As if that weren’t enough, we also saw Anakin dressed as Darth Vader in the movie… and is Obi-final Wan’s look in the video one of recognition? Is he aware of his previous Padawan?
The first look at Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 arrived in the shape of a teaser trailer, which was jam-packed with Easter eggs for Star Wars fans. Here’s where you can find it:
Obi-Wan Kenobi season 1 cast
We can’t have Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 in the Revenge of the Sith era without Ewan McGregor. If his comments on Jimmy Kimmel Live! are any indication, he enjoyed filming the new series. Hayden Christensen’s return as Darth Vader is also great news. His participation was announced as part of the Disney Investor Day Star Wars presentation in December 2020.
In March, the rest of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s cast was unveiled. Throughout the series, Obi-Wan will face the Inquisitorius, a crack band of elite spies led by Darth Vader tasked with tracking down Jedi who have escaped Order 66.
The Grand Inquisitor is the leader of this group (played by Rupert Friend, Anatomy of a Scandal). The Grand Inquisitor has several operatives working for him, including Reva (Moses Ingram, Queen’s Gambit), the Third Sister, who is obsessed with locating Kenobi.

Obi-Wan Kenobi does not feature all of the Inquisitorius, but we have seen the Fourth Sister (Rya Kihlstedt, Superman & Lois) and the Fifth Brother (played by Sung Kang, Fast & Furious).
Owen Lars is played by Joel Edgerton (The Underground Railroad), Beru Lars is played by Bonnie Piesse (Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones), Haja is played by Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Nari is played by Benny Safdie (Good Time), and O’Shea Jackson Jr. is played by Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) (Straight Outta Compton).
Grant Feely also appears in the show as a young Luke Skywalker. Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, has given his blessing to his announcement. Hamill tweeted the casting news, writing: “Grant Feely appears to be the perfect Luke Skywalker, and I wish him the best of luck! #TheForceIsWithFeely” As if the rest of the cast weren’t thrilling enough, Vivien Lyra Blair (Bird Box) would play Princess Leia’s younger self, Senator Bail (Jimmy Smits) and Breha (Simone Kessel) Organa.
The plot of Obi-Wan Kenobi
We don’t know much about what will happen in the next episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 because the plot has been kept carefully under wraps. We’ll be publishing episode recaps below now that the show has begun airing, so make sure you’re up to date!
During the 2020 Disney Investor Day, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy focused on Obi-“worst Wan’s failure,” allowing Anakin Skywalker to be corrupted and join the Dark Side of the Force.
As a result, we may expect this series to focus on Obi-reaction Wan’s to this watershed point in history and how it has shaped him throughout his exile.
Recap of previous episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1
In the first episode, the Inquisitors arrived at Tatooine searching for a Jedi. Nari reveals himself to the Inquisitors after the Inquisitors agitate sure locals to persuade him to reveal himself to the Inquisitors. Reva is about to put him to death, but the Grand Inquisitor intervenes and saves him.
Reva’s carelessness and fixation with finding down Kenobi, also hidden on the planet and working at a meat factory under the alias Ben. This angered the Grand Inquisitor.
Obi-Wan has withdrawn from society and keeps a watchful eye on Luke Skywalker. But he is facing issues by his mistakes and was in his past. He tries unsuccessfully to contact Qui-Gon Jinn through the Force in secret.
Nari tracks down Obi-Wan. But he refuses to help him and tells him that their battle ends and they have lost. Obi-Wan later discovers Nari’s body hung up in town.
Owen Lars runs into Obi-Wan in town. He returns a gift he’d left for Luke, warning him to stay away from Luke. Reva tries to scare Owen into handing up information about Obi-Wan, but he refuses. The Inquisitors then arrive in town again, this time on the trail of Kenobi.
Meanwhile, we get a glimpse into the life of a young Princess Leia on Alderaan. It is before a group of bounty hunters takes her.
Reva wanted to use Leia to bring Obi-Wan out of hiding, so she hired them.
Obi-Wan refuses to aid Leia’s parents, causing Bail Organa to travel out to see him. Also, persuade him that he is the perfect person for the task. Obi-Wan retrieves his lightsaber and purchases a ticket to Daiyu.
Further story
When Obi-Wan lands on Daiyu, he runs upon Haja. He is a conman who has been posing as a Jedi to help others get off the planet in exchange for a few credits.
Obi-Wan can save Leia after Haja tells him where the bounty hunters have been holding her. When the Grand Inquisitor discovers that the Jedi have arrived on the planet. He orders the city to be shut down to prevent them from eluding him yet again.
Reva defies the Inquisitor’s orders and places a bounty on Obi-Wan. When the mercenaries begin to pursue them as they try to flee. Leia flees Obi-Wan while Reva and bounty hunters pursue them across the city.
After utilising the Force to save Leia from plunging to her death over a roof, Han finally earns her trust.
Haja locates Obi-Wan and directs him to a cargo port from which he might flee Daiyu. He tries to distract Reva, but she pushes him aside and follows Obi-Wan and Leia to the cargo hold. While Obi-Wan is hiding from Reva, she discloses that Anakin is still alive. Also has been searching for his former master for quite some time.
Reva confronts the Grand Inquisitor for her disobedience. But she stabs him with her lightsaber, allowing Obi-Wan and Leia to flee. We cut to somewhere else in the galaxy, as Anakin awakens in a bacta tank. AlsoObi-Wan contemplates what he’s just came to know.
