Priyanka Chopra Jonas slammed a media for referring to her as “Nick Jonas’ wife” in an article while promoting her new film “The Matrix Resurrections.” Chopra Jonas took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the news story and said, she doesn’t understand why this still happens to women today. The actor, on the other hand, did not disclose the name of the media organisation.
Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’,” she wrote.

The 39-year-old actor also included her husband, Jonas, in the photo.
In “The Matrix Resurrections,” directed by Lana Wachowski, Chopra Jonas plays Sati alongside Hollywood legend Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity.
The fourth instalment of the franchise, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Christina Ricci, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jonathan Groff, will be released on December 22.
