Ruslana Korshunova ‘s boyfriend:

Korshunova passed away on June 28, 2008, at about 2:30 p.m., after falling from her apartment’s ninth-floor balcony at 130 Water Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. Korshunova’s death was determined to be an apparent suicide by police, who noted no signs of a struggle inside her flat. One of Korshunova’s acquaintances claimed that she had recently returned from a modeling gig in Paris and that there was no obvious reason why she would kill herself. Wednesday was set aside for Korshunova’s 21st birthday celebration in Pennsylvania. After watching the Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore movie, Korshunova’s former-boyfriend Artem Perchenok claimed to have left her off at her several flat hours before she passed away.

Ruslana Korshunova Early Life

In 2003, a feature on the local German language club in Almaty, which Korshunova was then a member of, appeared in All Asia magazine. When Debbie Jones of Models 1 saw her picture in the article, she became interested. Jones found and signed up the then-15-year-old Korshunova, known as the Russian Rapunzel, for her early work’s knee-length chestnut hair. The following agencies represented Korshunova: casting Moscow, which was her mother agency, Beatrice (Milan), Traffic Models (Barcelona), Marilyn Model Agency, and IMG (New York, Paris, London, and Milan). In 2005, Korshunova was recognized by British Vogue as “a face to be thrilled about.”

Ruslana Korshunova ‘s Career

Korshunova appeared on the covers of Russian Vogue and French Elle. She also appeared in print advertisements for brands such as Paul Smith, Blugirl by Blumarine, Clarins, Ghost, Girbaud, Kenzo Accessories, Marithé & François, Max Studio, Moschino, and Old England, as well as for the lingerie lines of Vera Wang and Pantene Always Smooth.

Korshunova passed away on June 28, 2008, at about 2:30 p.m., after she fell from her apartment’s ninth-floor balcony. Also, Peter Pomerantsev, a British television producer and director, has hypothesized that Korshunova’s death was connected to her association with Rose of the World. This contentious Moscow-based organization bills itself as “training for personality development.” Pomerantsev discovered that the model spent three months attending training sessions at Rose of the World while doing research for a documentary about Korshunova’s death. These sessions are modeled after Lifespring, whose controversial methods were the subject of numerous lawsuits for mental damages in the US during the 1980s.

Other details:

During these sessions, participants are encouraged to discuss their darkest experiences and relive suppressed memories. Also, an acquaintance of Korshunova’s, the deceased model Anastasia Drozdova of Ukraine, attended training sessions with her. After several months at the Rose, the two women’s friends noted alterations in their behavior. Korshunova developed an aggressive personality, while Drozdova lost weight and developed severe mood swings.

So, Korshunova came to New York to hunt for a job after completing her three-month training program, where she talked of feeling adrift and unsure of herself. Also, Rick Ross, the executive director of the Cult Education Forum, claims that groups like Rose of the World “work like drugs: giving you peak experiences, their adherents always coming back for more. The serious problems start when people leave. So, the training has become their lives—they come back to emptiness. Also, the sensitive ones break.” After only a few months away from the Rose, Korshunova was discovered dead.

So, numerous witnesses testified that nobody weird or suspicious was seen in Korshunova’s Water Street building on the day of her death. Also, no one could pass the reception without being seen, and the concierge could see the back escape in the yard. So, Korshunova’s mother dropped into the flat on her most recent trip. Valentina reportedly stayed at the apartment’s door for several hours, according to Korshunova’s pals. She is still expecting that the neighborhood police will have the solution. So, Korshunova was laid to rest in Moscow’s Khovanskoye Cemetery on July 7, 2008. Also, her mother told the Russian publication Komsomolskaya Pravda that her daughter loved the Russian city and “[She] would want her beloved Moscow to be her last resting place.”
