Pakistan completed a 10-wicket victory against India during a match of the T20 World Cup 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium. So, Pakistan has ended their winless run against India in T20 World Cups as they successfully chased down the target of 152. The Men in Green rode on half-centuries from skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to scale the chase with all 10 wickets. Mohammad Rizwan hit 79* off 55, whereas Babar scored 68* off 52.
But the Player of the Match award was bestowed by Shaheen Afridi. The left-arm pacer indeed pushed India on the backfoot right in his first spell as he sent back KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma with just 6 runs on the board. He also dismissed Virat Kohli for 57.
Well, Malik didn’t get much of a role to play in the fixture as he didn’t bowl, and also, he didn’t get a chance to bat. India will now compete with New Zealand on October 31. Pakistan will next face Black Caps on Tuesday (October 26).
