Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu (June 11, 1993 – May 29, 2022), also known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was an Indian singer, rapper, actor, and politician associated with Punjabi music and cinema. He began his career as a songwriter for Ninja’s song “License,” His singing career started with a duet song called “G Wagon.” He worked with Brown Boyz on several tracks released by Humble Music after his debut. Sidhu Moose Wala Early Life

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu was born in the village of Moosa in the Punjab district of Mansa. He was born into a Sikh family, the son of Bhola Singh and Charan Kaur. He graduated in electrical engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana in 2016. Tupac Shakur was a hero and influence on Moose Wala. In the sixth grade, he began listening to hip-hop music and studied music with Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana.

Moose Wala relocated to Brampton, Ontario, Canada, after graduating. While living there, he released his first song, “G Wagon.” In 2018, he began performing live shows in India. He’d also done shows in Canada. Moose Wala’s breakthrough came in 2017 with the song “So High,” a gangster rap collaboration with Byg Byrd. The song earned him the 2017 Brit Asia TV Music Awards Best Lyricist award. He built on his success with singles such as “Issa Jatt,” “Tochan,” “Selfmade,” “Famous,” and “Warning Shots.”

Moose Wala’s third studio album, Moosetape, with 32 tracks, was released in May 2021. He performed with British rapper Mist at the Wireless Festival in London on September 12, 2021. The first Indian singer to perform at this festival was Moose Wala.

Moose Wala released his debut EP No Name in April 2022, featuring AR Paisley, Mr. Capone-E, and Sunny Malton. It debuted at No. 73 on the Billboard Top Canadian Albums chart.

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was born into a farmer’s family in Mansa’s Moosa village. The 28-year-old electrical engineer graduated in 2016 from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in Ludhiana but moved to Canada, where his first song was released in early 2017.
