Teyana Taylor’s “A Thousand and One” is scheduled for Release

A Thousand and One, A.V. Rockwell’s feature-length directorial debut, will hit theatres on March 31, 2023, according to a recent report from Deadline. Focus Features has set the date for the movie’s release. Based on a scenario created by Rockwell, the movie will be made by Sight Unseen, Make-ready, and Hillman Grad Productions.
In the past, Rockwell has written and directed a number of short films, including the 2018 feature Feathers, the 2016 film The Gospel, and an episode of the comedy series Boomerang.
Multi-hyphenate Teyana Taylor, who previously starred in Coming 2 America, plays Inez, a free-spirited and unapologetic woman who kidnaps her son Terry, a 6-year-old from the foster care system, in the next movie, though exact facts about it are still unknown.
The two will try to restore their feeling of home, identity, and security in New York which is changing quickly. As the movie’s release date draws near, more facts regarding the characters and the storyline will probably become available.

Taylor & a Rising Talent Are Set to Feature in It


A Thousand and One might be an interesting picture for people to look out for when it premieres next spring since Taylor is set to feature in it and a rising talent is attached to direct a story that could be quite moving.
Along with Lena Waithe and Rishi Rajani from Hillman Grad, Eddie Vaisman and Julia Lebedev of Sight Unseen serve as the film’s producers. Oren Moverman from Sight Unseen serves as an executive producer on the movie alongside Rachel Jacobs and Brad Weston of Makeready. To American theatres, Focus Features will distribute the movie.
Taylor will also star in White Men Can’t Jump, a forthcoming remake of the iconic sports comedy of the same name, in addition to the eventual release of A Thousand and One. Calmatic will serve as the director, while 20th Century Studios will release the movie at an unspecified time in theatres. Taylor is slated to star in David M. Rosenthal’s upcoming heist thriller The Smack, according to recent reports.
Alongside Casey Affleck, Kathy Bates, and Alan Arkin in Misery, she will also appear (in Manchester by the Sea). Previous acting credits include roles in the TV shows Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, Coming 2 America, and Star, which starred Eddie Murphy
