Cherished player and Indian women’s T20I team captain Harmanpreet Kaur stated that she is full of Hope and has been eagerly waiting for the women’s Indian Premier League (IPL) to begin as soon as possible. She has now hit the headlines once again after she got the title of being the first Indian woman to be named WBBL Player of the Tournament. Also following up with that a stunning season for Melbourne Renegades after she scored 399 runs in the tournament. It was at an average of 66.50 and a strike rate of 135.25.
Well, consisting of all three match-winning half-centuries and she stated “I think we have been looking at this for a long time and I hope, you know, sooner this women’s IPL will also start and we will also invite overseas players over there so that they can also share their experience with our domestic players,” said Harmanpreet as per the reports given by ESPNcricinfo website. Every Indian wants to play in this league and I was the first one who got this opportunity to play and today, you know, winning this player of the tournament definitely gives lots of confidence to Indian girls also,” She added, “They can also come here and perform and, you know, be part of this and then there are all the chances to achieve a lot in their cricket career.” Surely the cherished player was well known for her amazing cricket skills and also for impressing her fans always with her amazing matches.
