Prime Video has released a new teaser for The Terminal List on YouTube. The planned American web TV series, directed by Antoine Fuqua and Ellen Kuras, is based on a novel by Jack Carr, with whom the project shares its name. David DiGilio wrote the screenplay for the film. Chris Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, and David DiGilio are among the project’s producers, Indivisible Productions, Fuqua Films, Civic Center Media, MRC, and Amazon Studios.
With “The Terminal List,” Amazon Studios stays in the Chris Pratt business. Following the publication of “The Tomorrow War,” the two sides have grown to trust one another, with the added novelty of Pratt’s return to television. Despite his somewhat geeky turn as Andy Dwyer in “Parks and Recreation,” the actor has become a go-to action hero for series like “Guardians of the Galaxy” and, much less convincingly, “Jurassic World.” With his role in “The Terminal List,” Pratt appears to be following in the footsteps of “Jack Ryan” star John Krasinski. Teaser for the Terminal List
The Terminal List teaser is a super short 18-second video that doesn’t connect any narrative dots but provides the impression that something huge is coming. The teaser begins with Pratt coming from behind a wall with an assault rifle in his hands, which is a fantastic shot. Still, it rapidly transitions to other shots of a caravan of black cars and someone peering out of a window at night from what appears to be a rather lovely residence.
With the teaser, it’s clear that Pratt’s character is in a dangerous mission involving flipping, crashing, and burning cars and many firepowers. The little clip does an excellent job of arousing just the right amount of curiosity about what is going on and what is yet to come.
The Plot of the Terminal List
Lieutenant Commander James Reece (Pratt) and his unit are slain in a horrific ambush during their last combat deployment in The Terminal List.
The plot revolves around James Reece, a Navy SEAL assigned to a covert mission that went catastrophically wrong and the events that followed.
Reece and his squad were on the expedition and looked death in the eyes. The aircrew in to rescue them was also killed in the event. When a traumatised James returns home, he discovers that those closest to him have died, and he understands he’s at the centre of a government-wide plot.
As a result, James has nothing to lose and swears to employ the skills during a decade of combat warfare to avenge the deaths of those he cares about. The team managed to overcome it and return to their loved ones. Still, Reech could not comprehend their near-misses and began exploring, only to discover something far darker than anyone could have imagined.
