The good news is that Season 2 of The Wheel Of Time has been recently renewed ahead of its premiere! Amazon’s fantasy adventure has got way more things waiting for it. The amazing thing is that Amazon Studios has announced the second season of The Wheel of Time. The Amazon studios also revealed in the same month that the series has already completed half of its shooting as of late November 2021.
According to some reports, it was reportedly known that the production for the second season started on July 19, 2021. And it is also expected to wrap in February 2022. The teleplay of the opening episode of the second season is written by Amanda Kate Shuman, which has got the title ‘A Taste of Solitude.’
The executive at Amazon Studios, Vernon Sanders, has already watched a few episodes. He said, “Showrunner Rafe Judkins and his team just sent us their first cuts of the first episodes of season 2, and I cannot wait for the audience to see what we have in store,” he stated. He added, “They’re just, they’re great.”
“We are going to be really thoughtful about how we release these shows,” Sanders added. “In our minds, they are very different shows, but we are cognizant of our genre fans.”
After the show got a renewal for another season, it definitely feels great. But now the question arises. ‘Are we going to get multiple seasons?’ So, let’s talk about that. Rafe Judkins, the series’ showrunner, said to a source that he thinks the show will last around eight seasons.

“I always have to approach it as if we’re going to get to tell the whole story that’s in the books. If we don’t approach it that way, then we’d set ourselves up to not stick the landing, and these books have such a good ending,” he explained.
He further added, “I really need to set us up to get there if we’re able to. That’s not up to me ultimately. If people watch it and Amazon wants to keep doing more, I’d love to continue to expand this world further.”
If the show goes well, the people will quite certainly see more seasons. The Amazon news is that we’ll be getting another season if everything goes well and as expected.
