Talking about how it all started, Tiger Shroff says that Jackky Bhagnani called him and then he said that there is a song that he wanted him to hear. “I fell in love with a composition by Vishal Mishra. Jackky after singing the singles I will be ready for a song like this. I am just glad I am grateful to him for giving me this chance”, says Tiger Shroff.
Not many people know this but Tiger Shroff has actually been taking singing lessons from Suzanne D’Mello. He said, “she is very talented. I do my vocal lessons with her. She really helped me out through and through with the recording, the notes pitching, and all. I am lucky to have her. also Vishal is a mastermind, I am lucky we got a great team”
When asked Jackky Bhagnani, what prompted him to come up with this idea, he revealed that he is a huge fan of music composer AR Rahman’s Vande Mataram and had a dream of doing a reprise version of it and, hence he took the step to do so. He further said that he was working on this music project for two years and then he thought that it’s the best time to put it out now. On asking why he chose Tiger to sing, he said that Tiger has a lovely voice and a sense of honesty and also a youth icon in the country who can perform and sing at the same time. And so he thought that no one other than him could do it.
As it is beautifully choreographed by Remo D’Souza he said that Vande Mataram is more of a feeling than a song. He further said that he played the song remove was completely ready to do this and you also praised Tiger for his fabulous job of singing and dancing. On further praising Tiger, he also said that it is quite an exciting challenge to see how many boundaries take and push together. Remo D’Souza said that he was quite excited to direct this music video.
