The state police wanted to spread the awareness of not drinking and driving and in order to issue caution on drunk driving on social media, they made use of the word play. “#SpiderMan can jump and fly, but there’s #NoWayHome if you are high! Call a cab or ask your sober friends to drive back home. Don’t Drink and Drive!” was the caption of the post which has won millions of hearts on the internet.
The picture was posted by the officials of Uttar Pradesh police department, and if you give a good look at it you will find that the post is a lookalike of the Marvel poster. Yes you read that right. The post made by the Uttar Pradesh police department is very much identical, having all the similar fonts and icons to that of the movie’s official Marvel poster. The officials shared the post on December 18, on the official social media handle and ever since it has been available online it has triggered laughter online on the Internet.
Currently this viral post has garnered more than 1,000 likes. A social media user who came across the post commented “UP police is also Spiderman fan.” Another social media user was seen commenting, “When you are meme lover but also love your job as police.” The Fans of Spider-Man films waited for so long for the new installment and this latest movie war has successfully scored the biggest pandemic-era opening in our country.
