Apple Avoided Mass Layoffs Unlike Google and Microsoft

A large-scale layoff of Apple employees has not been announced. 

Amid unstable global economic conditions, tech giants like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft have laid off thousands of employees.

Apple appears to be avoiding layoffs despite widespread layoffs being announced by other major technology companies as the economy slows down. 

For the time being, it appears that Apple has no plans to fire staff, at least on the corporate side. 

we will get a relatively clearer picture during Apple's February 2 earnings call for the last quarter.

In an effort to reduce costs, Twitter was one of the first major technology companies to implement widespread layoffs toward the end of October 2022. 

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, laid off half of the staff shortly after he took over.
