ChatGPT Clears US Medical Licensing Exam

A new study found that ChatGPT could achieve a score close 

the 60% threshold needed to pass the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) by providing answers that were logical and insightful. 

Tiffany Kung and colleagues at AnsibleHealth in California, US, tested ChatGPT's efficacy on the USMLE

a highly standardised and regulated series of three exams including Steps 1, 2CK, and 3. 

These exams are necessary for medical licencing in the United States. 

The United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) is an exam taken by medical students 

interns to test their knowledge of a wide range of medical topics.
