Khera insisted that it was just a slip of the tongue, so no conclusions should be drawn from it.

Congress leader Pawan Khera was arrested by Assam police on Thursday for making allegedly derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi

the Supreme Court ordered a Delhi court to grant him interim bail. 

When presented to the competent magistrate in Delhi, Khera will be granted interim bail

as decided by a three-judge bench presided over by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud.

On his way to the Congress plenary session in Raipur, Khera was detained by the Delhi Police upon landing from his IndiGo flight in Delhi.
