Disney+’s “avatar” Will End During Its Theatrical Re-release.

The epic journey won’t be accessible on the streaming service, but it will be shown on the big screen in a new 4K high-dynamic range restoration.

The highly anticipated sequel Avatar: The Way of Water is scheduled to arrive on December 16, but Avatar is predicted to return to Disney+

The cast of the film Avatar includes Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Stephen Lang, Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, and Zoe Saldana.

Jake Sully (Worthington), a crippled former Marine who is chosen for the Avatar Program after his twin brother is slain, is the main character of the original Avatar.

James Cameron’s Avatar will return to theatres on September 23 in remastered 4K High Dynamic Range, according to Disney and 20th Century on Tuesday.

For a rerelease in 2010, the limited-edition Avatar event did well financially, grossing $44 million overall, including $10.7 million in North America and $34 million abroad.

The final Avatar movie will be released in 2028, 19 years after the first one.
