Mumbai-Gandhinagar Luxurious Vande Bharat inaugurated by PM Modi

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rode the newly inaugurated Vande Bharat trainset from Gandhinagar to Kalupur in Gujarat.

When the Vande Bharat was initially introduced in Delhi in 2019, Modi did the honours.

it continues the Vande Bharat moniker, the third train in the series is being called "Vande Bharat 2.0"

Ashwini Vaishnaw, India's minister of railways, has stated that with each new series of manufacturing

the Vande Bharat will be updated and rebranded as a new "version," however the name will remain the same.

It also improves upon the previous model's 3.87 riding index at 180 km/h by providing a more comfortable 3.26 index.
